PVC and Nume leather are combined to make this stunning shoulder bag. Designed by Macromauro, a Japanese maker who began a career as an architect and felt drawn to create wearable structural pieces. Each piece is handmade in Osaka.
Nume leather is leather that has been tanned using only vegetable tannin. This is a traditional Japanese tanning method and the process takes over a month. The end result is a very strong leather that begins it's life slightly stiff, however over time, takes on characteristics of it's own. The leather becomes softer and more pliable, takes on a sheen and nuances that are only created through your own personal use of the bag. No bag will evolve in the same way and your bag will be uniquely yours over the years to come.
The Nume Leather strap has multiple holes for multiple adjustments. It can be worn as a cross body bag or it can be shortened and worn as a shoulder bag. The playful nature of the design makes this a versatile bag for you.
The 2 mm PVC is richly colored and has a modern juxtaposition with the timelessness of the nume leather.
The bag has outer pockets designed for paper or images, your treasures and personality can show through while waiting for the metro or shopping the market. Your inner artist can play and have fun while you enjoy watching the evolution of your one of a kind shoulder bag.
